Phillies vs. Nationals

I was prepared to make some joke about three generations of Griffey’s watching the Phillies lose to a last place team but they managed to pull out the win. Even Brad Lidge was effective. Of course, Carson was asleep in the back seat of our car by the time the 11 inning game ended. Hardest part was trying to explain to Carson that you don’t automatically get to catch a foul ball.





Blair Witch - Team Griffey style

This went on for 20+ minutes. Great weekend overall for the Griffey family. Friday night, the boys “graduated” from their current classroom. Carson was a Panda and will become a Firefly. Declan was a Duckling and will be making the *huge* leap to Penguins. On Saturday, we took a family bike ride to Silver Spring for the farmers market and to play in their downtown water fountain. On Sunday, we took another family bike ride. This time we went to Bethesda for bagels and their farmers markets. We capped the weekend with a BBQ with Alisha’s friends from UVA. Good times.
